Dinner Church: Wednesdays in March beginning at 5:30pm in our fellowship hall!
Dinner Church is our midweek Lenten worship service!
We gather in the fellowship hall on Wednesday evenings for worship, which includes a meal, conversation, a short bible study and Holy Communion! The meal is an integral part of our worship together as we read in the book of Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
This year’s theme will be studying/discussing the events of Holy Week. Below is the schedule of our bible study topics for our Wednesday evenings together:

Rice Bowl Offering
The Rice Bowl Offering is returning on December 5 after taking a break during Covid! Sunday, December 5…the Rice Bowl offering will be designated for the ELCA Global Barnyard…Which is part of the ELCA World Hunger Ministry. The Global Barnyard offers opportunities for us to purchase an animal or a variety of animals, which are then given to a family or families in developing countries/communities throughout the world. Then…on Sunday, December 12…during Sunday School time, the children will select what animal or animals we will purchase based on the amount collected during the Rice Bowl Offering! **What is the Rice Bowl Offering, you might ask? On one Sunday of each month, during the children's time, the children circulate around the sanctuary with small bowls collecting pocket change...or any other form of money folks wish to give...which is designated for an organization, usually local, although sometimes global, that focuses on impacting the lives of children and youth. Our children are a big part of the offering that we receive each month because of their participation in collecting and bringing the offering forward to the altar for a special blessing. And your offerings that are gathered each month for these organizations that impact the lives of children, make more of a difference than I think any of us realize! Thank you for your support!
