Blessings to you! I have been serving with Kure Memorial since October of
2012! My journey in life and in ministry has been eventful! Before getting involved in ministry, I was a Landscape Architect in upstate New York for 10 years where I enjoyed the snow and cold! It was from there that God gave me a nudge to serve in youth ministry in Wisconsin for two years and then in family ministry in Ohio for several years. During that time I answered the call to be a pastor. I attended Winebrenner Seminary in Findlay, Ohio where I received my Master of Divinity and then finished my seminary studies at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. I served a church in northwest Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie before my family and I moved to Kure Beach. I am married to Chris and we have 4 grown children; Lindsey, Colleen, Heather and Andro. I have a passion for building relationships, talking about how God is working in our lives, traveling, hanging out with my family, most sports and walking/sitting on the beach! I look forward to meeting and having conversation with you. |
Tracy Barton - Office Administrator

Hello! I am from Toledo, Ohio. I moved here in 2017. I studied at The University of Toledo. I had a 35 year career as a professor and college administrator in various locations (including Bowling Green State University in Ohio, Millikin University in Illinois, and the University of Phoenix, both online and at the Columbus, Ohio campus). My area of expertise is organizational leadership. I loved higher education but left that field in 2016 because the landscape had changed. After that, I ended up in financial services, living on Oak Island, but recently decided I wanted to be in Wilmington; I’m a city girl and also my significant other and my daughter live in Wilmington and my church is in Leland.
I am happy to serve KMLC as your Office Administrator. I also work for a tax professional as his Marketing Director (I love marketing). And I teach yoga; I’m a long-time practitioner and have been teaching for 16 years. Besides yoga, I love to read, I love to paint or do anything artistic, I sing on a praise team, I love walking (the beach is preferred), and am into healthy cooking and eating. I have two adult children; my son lives in Dallas with his wife, and my daughter, as stated, lives here in Wilmington. She is a very talented photographer with a successful business. I also love animals and have rescued many dogs and cats; I currently live with a cat named Tabitha. |

Kristin McAuliffe - Pianist and Music Director
A native of Fairfield, Connecticut, Kristin has worked in music since graduating from college in 1998. Her degree is from Elon University (BA) where she majored in piano performance after receiving the A.J. Fletcher Scholarship for music as well as an honors scholarship. Kristin began teaching private piano lessons after graduation and also worked as preschool and kindergarten music teacher at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian('98-'03) as well as Pine Valley Baptist Church(2010-2011) in Wilmington, NC. She loves working with children and volunteers each year at her son and daughter's school to accompany the choir concert on piano. Kristin has served KMLC since 1999 as pianist and music director. She is always on the lookout for new choir members! Playing music for church and singing is an absolute blessing!
