Pastor Dan Keck
Lynn Galindo - Office Manager
I bring to KMLC over 30 years of administrative, technological, bookkeeping, accounting, managerial and leadership experience. I have had a diverse employment history, and it has given me a unique skill set. It ranges from waiting tables, answering phones, owning a restaurant, registrar for Faith Center, director of marketing and advertising at two large motorcycle corporations, to becoming a public school special education teacher in 2008. One position I recently held enabled me to work for the Kure Beach Faith Center and staff. My position of registrar gave me the opportunity to engage with hundreds of individuals ranging from Pastors, group leaders, faith formation leaders, ministry leaders and the local community. When I am not in the office, volunteering, or spending time with my 18 year old daughter, you can surely find me working at one of our island's local markets, selling my handmade jewelry and art. Fun facts about me: I love bearded dragons and can't get enough of sweet watermelon. I am a strong Christian. I have seen the miracles of God first hand. Every day, I try to be someone whose actions and heart reflects that of Jesus Christ.
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." -Ephesians 4:32 |
Christine Hughes - Coordinator of Youth and Family Ministries
Originally from Southern New Jersey, my family and I moved here 3 years ago. My husband, John, and I have been married for 8 years and have two amazing children, Francesca 5 and Nicholas 4. We love being outdoors and spending time together. Before moving to Kure Beach, I was a health and physical education teacher certified in grades k-12. I have always loved working with children and currently work with the preschoolers here at Kure Memorial Lutheran Preschool. After becoming a member of the church 3 years ago, I knew we found the perfect place for our children to grow and develop new relationships within our church community. Children are our future and I am grateful to be able to help them learn through God and the members of our church.
