Federal Point Help Center
Needs for October, 2025: The Help Center Pantry would like to thank you for all your support and donations over the years that have allowed them to take care of our neighbors. In the middle of October, we have provided food for 187 people with two weeks left in the month. We are looking forward to the next two months, moving into the Christmas season. We are preparing for the Christmas baskets, but we still need continuing donations to feed the community. Listed below are the items needed for the month of November: Canned Chicken, Peanut Butter, Jelly, canned beans & Rice Items can be left in the narthex.
Christmas is just around the corner. Every year our church is asked to help contribute to the Help Center’s Christmas baskets. We were asked to collect brownie mixes again this year. They are asking for at least 100, but they are anticipating 150 baskets. As in the past we will have a little friendly competition to see what side of the church can bring in the most brownie mixes. There will be a basket in the back of the church on November 9, 16, and 23. Each week we will count what was brought in on each side of the church and keep a running total. On November 30th we will announce which side of the church “won”. Thanks for being such strong supporters of the event and remember the real winners are the families who will have a nice Christmas meal thanks to all the generous people in our community.

All other canned or packaged food items or toiletries are deeply appreciated. Pull-tab lids on canned items, please. Please place in designated basket at the entrance of the Church (Narthex).
