Blessings on this Easter Weekend! We're sorry to inform you all that due to the poor weather conditions/forecast for early Sunday morning, the decision has been made to cancel the Community Sunrise Service that is held jointly with Kure Beach First Baptist Church each year. We will still have our 2 services at Kure Memorial on Easter morning... at 8:30 and 10am. **Special Note: Each year at the Community Sunrise Service, there is an offering collected for the Help Center, the food pantry ministry on Pleasure Island which assists people in need in our island community. This is one of their major ways to raise funds for their ministry. Since we cannot do that this year, we invite/encourage you to make a donation either directly to the Help Center (PO Box 54, Carolina Beach, 28428) or through Kure Memorial Lutheran Church, just be sure to indicate that it is for the Help Center.
